Design Challenges

To help keep my design skills sharp when in-between large-scale projects, I complete various design challenges that focus on exploring creative solutions to simple prompts. These could include creating a logo for an imaginary company or designing some banner ads to help promote a real-life event. Below are some personal design challenges I completed that help me stay creatively active.

Programs Used: Illustrator, Photoshop

Design Challenge: Typographic Specimen

Study a specific typeface of your choosing and create a mini booklet that explores that typeface's features and history.

Design Challenge: Mock Responsive Homepage

Using only Illustrator and Photoshop, design a responsive homepage that is based on your favorite form of music. The homepage needs to be in web, tablet, and mobile formats. Include with the design a mock-up of all three responsive pages.

Design Challenge: Cereal Box Campaign

Using a popular fictional character, design a cereal box campaign. Include within the design the brand mascot, as well as, the traditional text information found on cereal boxes.
